Location searches and selected pickup and destination details are processed to provide address suggestions and routes. Your journey and vehicle selection are saved in your browser session. If you email us, we receive the contact, passenger and journey information you include. We also process device, browser, network and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the website.
Why we use it
We use information to search locations, estimate routes and prices, respond to inquiries, provide support and protect the website. If you arrange a confirmed reservation with us, we use the information needed to coordinate that journey and handle related service, billing or refund questions and required records.
Service providers
Our technical providers include Cloudflare for hosting and security, Google Maps, Places and Routes for location and routing services, Sentry for error monitoring, and email providers for communications. Journey searches are sent to the relevant location and routing services. Saved journey selections remain in your browser until you share them with us. If you contact us to arrange a journey, we share the relevant details with providers as needed to fulfill your request.
Storage and retention
Journey drafts are stored in browser session storage and can be removed through your browser controls. Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Information received through inquiries or confirmed reservations is retained for the relevant service, support, recordkeeping, security and dispute purposes. Access to that information is limited to the people and providers who need it for those purposes.
Your choices and requests
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may be entitled to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. Email hire@rydecom.com to make a request or appeal a response. We may ask for information to verify your identity. You can contact us by email and manage stored cookies through your browser.
Children
This service is intended for adults making travel reservations. Do not submit personal information independently if you are under 18. An adult arranging travel for a child should provide only the details needed for the journey.
